Singers and dancers performed to the soundtracks from popular performers, much in a karoke style, as videos and domestic violence information pertinent to the specific piece, were displayed on a 20 foot screen behind the performers.
Survivor I registered the highest volume of applause for any performance ever at the Spencer Theater.
June is “Volunteer for H.E.A.L.” month, an effort to identify and organize volunteer coordination, a vital support to managing and operating the shelter. Those interested in volunteering can call H.E.A.L. at 378-6378.
On July 15th an encore production – SURVIVOR 2: Rain will “take the stage by storm” at the Spencer Theater. This captivating show, featuring local talented singers and dancers in a live performance, was a triumph last October. All new music, and many new and talented performers will captivate the audience at the Spencer Theater. Tickets are on sale now for contributors to the theater, and will become available to the general public on May 4th via the Spencer Box Office, 336-4800 or through H.E.A.L. Those interested in performing in the show should contact H.E.A.L. soon, so that auditions can be immediately scheduled. Whether you’re in a seat or up on the stage, you won’t want to miss out on this amazing community event at the Spencer this July!
