Objectives

The objectives of the Help End Abuse for Life, Inc. (H.E.A.L.) Corporation are:
1. To determine the needs of the community with regard to domestic and sexual violence;
2. To provide a facility or facilities that may be used as shelter/s for the abused;
3. To provide services to victims of abuse and their families;
4. To promote education for the abused, their families, and the community;
5. To develop other programs in related areas;
6. To promote public awareness and participation in our programs;
7. To encourage and organize fund-raising to maintain our programs;
8. To educate government and private resources in the problems of the abused;
9. To encourage efficient use of government and private resources for support of H.E.A.L.;
10. To act as the liaison among community organizations, all levels of government and the private sector in encouraging and promoting the distribution of information about the abused;
11. To develop and distribute government and private resources to maintain the programs of our organization and other related services;
12. To support and implement the growth of Lincoln County, New Mexico resources that support our Mission;
13. To encourage and provide information and assistance for students in the public educational system who may be victims of abuse;
14. To carry out the responsibilities of a not-for-profit corporation, under state laws.
